어제 국제기구인 UNEP/CMS, FAO 의 조류인류루엔자 관련 연구팀에서 발표,

요약하면, 철새가 이번 H5N8을 전파했을 가능성이 적다는 것과

항공방제는 좋지않다는 것이 포함되어 있습니다.

아래 내용이 발표 자료의 주요 요지 입니다. 

1.       The Scientific Task Force on Avian Influenza and Wild Birds, co-convened by the United Nations Environment Programme/ Convention on Migratory Species (UNEP/CMS) and the Food and  Agriculture Organization (FAO) urges agencies and organisations to:

a.      conduct thorough epidemiological eval‍uation to determine the true source of the virus and mechanisms of transmission among domestic and wild birds;

b.      regardless of the source of infection, focus disease control actions on the affected farms with the aim of minimising risk of disease spread to other poultry farms and/or wildlife;

c.       ensure that affected and nearby farms are biosecure to prevent wildlife-poultry contact; and

d.      recognise that focussing attention on wild birds can misdirect critical resources away from effective disease control and result in negative conservation outcomes and loss of biodiversity.

 1. UNEP/CMS와 FAO의 조류인플루엔자 연구팀은 다음 사항을 촉구함:

    a. 바이러스의 근원을 밝히기위한 역학조사와 가금류와 야생조류간의 전파 과정 확인

    b. 감염원에 상관없이 감염농장에서 다른 가금농장과 야생조류로의 질병 확산을 막기위해 방지에 최선을 다해줄 것

    c. 야생조류에 촛점을 맞추는 것은 실제 근원을 벗어나 효율적인 질병통제라 할 수 없으며, 생물다양성손실과 보전의 부정적 결과를 초래할 수 있음.
