Les Misérables(레 미제라블)은 ' 비참에 처한 사람들...'이란 말입니다.



지난 연말에 개봉된 영화 '레 미제라블'이 많은 사람들의 마음을 힐링해 주고 있다고 합니다.

빅토르 위고는, 레 미제라블의 비참한 처지를 놓고

소설 속의 화자를 통해 이렇게 울부짖습니다.

"절망한 사람은 스스로를 내버린다.
기진한 사람은 죽는 편을 택한다.
